A Note from Ed

Hello! My name is Edward Sims; writer, publisher, and owner of Kensai Productions Publications LLC. In 1997, I started an independent comic book publisher named Millennium Publications. It wasn’t until I envisioned a name to better fit our flagship title, Black Arrow, that I arrived at the Japanese meaning for “Sword Master”—Kensai. Thus, Kensai Productions Publications LLC was born. Currently, we feature a trio of comic series in publication: Black Arrow, Persia: The Lightning Dragon, and Rising Sun.

I have been in the comic industry for over 23 years and have collaborated with many talented individuals that I would like to thank: My lovely wife and co-editor, Natalie Douglas-Sims; Owner of Epoch Publications and our Art director, Donald McQuay; supremely skilled artists: Scott James, Sanford Greene, Raymond Leonard, Luca Cicchitti, Brian Balondo, Beniamino Delvecchio, Brian Brinlee, John Polack, Gary W. Mckee II, Ernest Jocson, and Bryan Arfel Magnaye. Thank you for your help in bringing the characters I’ve imagined to life.
